On a Casual Look

Every breath is a reason to try, to fight, to live with hope of better and more. Never lose hope; as long as you can close your eyes a night to sleep you are strong enough to make any of your wishes come true. Never lose the person you were meant to be to fear and uncertainty, nothing is certain until it’s done so do it and find out what your fears were keeping you from.

Good morning amazing human beings, hope you have been well I have missed you big these past few days. For those who have been asking am doing much better today than yesterday.

On to the outfit of the day loves it’s an all casual look. I once said I love long distance traveling in denim especially when am sure am using the public means of transport. On this day I went for this ripped pair of jeans a printed vest and a brown leather jacket. I was running some errand so I went for these maroon sneakers as footwear. I accessorized the look with a pendant necklace. Am currently on a natural hair do so I sported a shade of blue hair wrap as a hair accessory. This look is preferable for a normal outdoor day as for me I felt like I needed a motor bike on this day as a complementary :-).

SWEAT SHIRT CASUAL

Am not a maven on psychology or life but I believe it’s always important and exciting to have bits of change once in a while. The weekends are always a break from the official looks, the heels and uptightness; a time-off to get intouch with the tomboy within and have a little one on one. Let the hair and feet down and feel relaxed. For me, if it’s not a cape it’s a hat of any kind. This specifc beanie hat is my brothers (thank God he is in school). If he finds out it will be bad I know but for this look and feel it’s worth the risk.

The secret in this look is simplicity. For me this is major for my feet and head. I believe they make the most statement. So for the feet I went for my black and white sneakers and the gorth beanie hat for the head gear. I wore the sweat shirt with my pair of blue jeans to hype up the casual look.
It’s been long since I wore this kind of glasses (tring to find out how they would look) and I must say  they didn’t disappoint….

As you enjoy your blessings my #OOTD is generally inspired by my love for ZEE WORLD. I just had to express my interest for the Hindi culture through the harem pant and honestly I loved me being Indian. I tried to keep it simple by sporting it with a white spagtop and layered it up with a kimono cardigan. To keep it nice, casual and comfy, I went for embellished sandals… if only I could improve on my Indian dancing moves. “Wondering which culture will be next on my list”. Follow us and find out. Casual Converse

Classy casual is what I see whenever am in this outfit. It’s perfect for this unpredictable weather and it accentuates my facial features. To give it that oomph I accessorized it with heart shaped neck-piece. To give it more colour, my lipstick, green pearl earrings and my blue clutch bag did the trick. This sweatshirt is versatile and can be worn with; from skater skirts to dresses but for comfort and flexibility in the streets of Nairobi, I chose to go with pants.
